Alberto Korda Diaz
Alberto Diaz Gutierrez, better known as "Korda", passed away on May 25, 2001 in Paris, France. He was 72 years old. He was buried in Havana on May 29th. This is a sad day for the photo community in general and particularly for those of us who knew him. He was wise, witty and always cordial.
